    Kirtland AFB, NM, 05 Jun 2006 (PRIME NEWSWIRE)-Cirrus Technology, Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) for the Global Positioning System (GPS) Modernization Program.

    Cirrus Technology, Inc. will provide support to Det 4 AFOTEC in the areas of engineering and technology, and field support for an Operational Utility Evaluation for the Global Positioning System Modernization.

    Work will include test concept development, test planning, test execution, test evaluation, test reporting, plan development, methodology development, test conduct, analysis, effectiveness, evaluation, software analysis and reporting, operational research, computer modeling and simulation, and scientific engineering,

    Infinity Systems Engineering, LLC will be working with Cirrus Technology, Inc. on this contract.

    Work will be performed in Peterson AFB, CO.
