Work includes developing and issuing solicitations for simplified acquisitions, sealed bids, and request for proposals for post-award task orders and contract modifications. Evaluate and document quotes, proposals, and bids for compliance with contract requirements, price reasonableness, best value, and suitability for award. Draft DD Form 2579, Small Business Coordination Record for contracting officer signature. Conduct market research and make recommendations to the contracting officer and acquisition team in the form of a Project Acquisition Strategy Board (PASB) memorandum. Prepare correspondence, justifications, and determinations for contracting officer signature. Prepare contract action reports and contract files and process contract closeouts.
