Kirtland AFB, NM, 14 Nov 2002 (PRIME NEWSWIRE)-Cirrus Technology, Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS). Cirrus Technology, Inc. will support the Air Force Operational Test and Evaluation Center (AFOTEC) in planning, executing, and reporting the Operational Test & Evaluation (OT&E) of directed weapons system programs. Work areas include test planning, test execution, test analysis and reporting for the Joint Surveillance Target Attack Radar System (Joint STARS) program and other related Command and Control (C2) Communications and Computer (C4), Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) systems. Work includes providing technical expertise to develop the Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), creation of detailed test procedures, supporting test team deployments, preparation of data management and analysis plans, collection and compilation and evaluation of test data, and providing technical inputs to determine operational impact assessments for Joint STARS and other C2/C4ISR systems necessary for preparing OT&E reports and briefings.
